ITEM # 1, DEMOLITION OF TWO (2) EXISTING ASPHALT TENNIS COURTS, 113’ X 123’,
AND ONE (1) EXISTING BASKETBALL COURT, 70’ X 123’.
Work to proceed as follows:
1. Remove all fence, equipment and entire perimeter concrete curb/footing. Saw cut and remove
all asphalt within western most court. Remove approx. 4”s of road base material off western
most tennis court. Includes all Incidentals, in preparation for the complete construction of Item #
2 as listed below.
Work to be performed on a time and Material basis, not to exceed……………….. $ 19,500.00
ITEM # 2, COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO (2) POST TENSION (PT), COURTS.
TENNIS COURT TO BE 60’ X 118’ AND BB COURT TO BE 61’ X 94’.
Work to proceed as follows:
1. Furnish complete set of stamped, engineered drawings and details of the new PT design.
2. Furnish and install 2” thick, laser graded leveling course of crusher fines, over existing 2 court
area (see above dimensions).
3. Layout, dig perimeter beam (1’ X 1’), form, place vapor barrier materials, place rebar, place
complete PT cable system with all incidentals. Pour and finish 4.5” thick concrete slab. All work to
be performed by, Post Tensioning Institute (PTI) Certified installers and inspectors.
4. Furnish and install complete new 10’/6’ high, 9 Ga., Galvanized fence system, complete with 3 walk
gates. Fence footages, 10’ High = 348 LF, 6’ High 106 LF. All fence to have top and bottom rail.
5. Furnish and install one set of 2 7/8” OD, HD, tennis net posts, in sleeves set in concrete.
6. Furnish and install one center anchor.
7. Furnish and install complete 5 coat, California Products, Plexipave surfacing system
8. Layout and paint 2” white playing lines to meet ASBA specifications.
9. Layout and paint 2” white playing lines to meet Official High School BB specifications.
10. Courts to be two-tone in color, colors selected by owner at later date.
11. Total job site clean up
