Re: Harmony Duct Bank Phase 1 and 2 – Additional Scope Proposal Revision 1
Dear Ms. McTague:
Exponential Engineering Company (EEC) is pleased to submit a proposal to provide
the City of Fort Collins with additional professional engineering services for the
Harmony Duct Bank Phase 1 and 2.
EEC proposes the following not to exceed price agreement for the scope listed herein
as follows:

Harmony Duct Bank Phase 1 and 2 – Additional Scope $9,720
The price provided is for the work scope outlined in this letter only. Any work outside
of this scope will be considered extra and negotiated with the City of Fort Collins.
Harmony Duct Bank Phase 1 and 2 Proposed Scope of Work:
1. Phase 2 Existing Easement Staking – Lat40 will stake the northerly limits of
the existing easements that parallel the proposed duct bank route at 100 foot
intervals. In areas where there is not an existing easement or the existing
easement is blanket in nature across the parcel Lat40 will stake the centerline
of the proposed duct bank.
2. Phase 1 and 2 Pothole Survey – Lat40 will locate pothole locations for the 7
vault to vault spans as staged by construction scheduling. Colorado Boring
Company will provide existing utility depths to Lat40.
3. Line Route Modifications per Utility Locates – Provide modified duct bank
route and vault locations as required by the utility locates for construction.

Harmony Duct Bank Phase 2 Items Not Included in Scope of Work:
1. Utility locates for construction will be ordered by Colorado Boring Company.
2. Colorado Boring Company will provide potholing services. The potholes used
for construction will also be used for engineering.
