Biohabitats will harvest willow branches from the populations surrounding Udall Ponds. From the harvested branches, we will cut stakes and install them in the riprap joints, using a stinger attachment to bore pilot holes into the riprap joints. The exact number of stakes will depend on material availability and ease of installation; we are aiming for an installation density that results in an average grid with stakes on between 1-foot to 2-foot centers. This proposal covers up to 2 days of installation work. Additional time over 2 days will require a change order to this agreement. Our fee to conduct this project is $9,800. This work is dependent on Poudre River water levels. If river levels are too high, it may need to be postponed. Thanks for your consideration of this proposal and for the opportunity to continue to assist you and the Natural Areas Department. If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at (303) 477-0660. Sincerely, Michael Lighthiser, Project Manager
