Hi Pat,
So it looks to me like Wesco quoted a matching mfg part number, but Irby and Western united both have variations on
the mfg part number.
I would ask Irby and Western United to clarify why their part number differs from the part number that we got from the
NewBasis representative. (Maybe there is something on their original quote submittals that explains the difference?) If
the product does not match our description to our satisfaction, then those bids will not be considered responsive.

Irby has also suggested an alternative manufacturer (Highline) who is not yet on standards. We can't use that for this
bid, but they can feel free to get in touch with us and request addition to standards by getting in touch and submitting a
sample outside of this process. If the sample meets our specifications and needs, then they can be added for future bids.
Thanks for putting this comparison spreadsheet together. It certainly made this review pretty painless!
Thanks,
Kraig

Here is the quote recap for this item. We do have some discrepancies in part numbers and no one filled in the
distributor number. Please advise...

Steve and I discussed this issue earlier today. We were thinking that we should include some language on the RFQ or bid
documents that distributors/vendors should make sure they are submitting manufacturer's part numbers. They can list
their internal part number but it must be labeled as such. Any quote that does not include the manufacturer's part
number can be considered non-responsive.
Any thoughts?

On this item it seems each vendor uses their own part numbers - we just don't have the ones W.U. uses. And I now see
that Graybar doesn't use the part numbers they gave us. I pulled out the Warehouse Item Request form for this vault.
We got the numbers listed from the distributors last June after Hubbel acquired Quasite. I had questioned New Basis,
but see it was returned to the approved vendor list in November.

Kraig,
Graybar was awarded this contract on the last purchase of the 13 x 24 vaults using the following part numbers;
FCA132418T - 90033
FCA132418ZH - I633

As Adam and I remember it, Western United has a habit of quoting the materials using their own part numbers, and not
those of the manufacturer. I think that is what the note is trying to capture. I think Western could go long way to prove
that they are a responsive and responsible bidder by actually using the manufacturer's part numbers when they quote
and by reading our item description.

Adam or Kraig,
Could I get some clarification on the part numbers for this vault? See the note that the warehouse put on the
requisition.
