AMENDMENT #1
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AND OLIN PARTNERSHIP, LTD.
This First Amendment (Amendment #1) is entered into by and between the CITY OF FORT
COLLINS (the “City”) and OLIN PARTNERSHIP, LTD. (the “Professional”).
WHEREAS, the Professional and the City entered into an Agreement effective October 22, 2019
(the “Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, Professional and the City desire to amend the Agreement to extend the Agreement
term for one (1) additional year; and
WHEREAS, Professional and the City desire to amend the Agreement to update tasks within the
Scope of Services; and
WHEREAS, Professional and the City desire to amend the Agreement to update tasks within the
Compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing recitals and the mutual promises herein
contained, the parties agree as follows:
1. The Agreement term will be extended for one (1) additional year, October 22, 2020,
through October 21, 2021.
2. Exhibit A, Scope of Services: The following tasks shall be updated as follows:
B. Project Approach, 4.2 Benchmarking: Include one additional peer and/or aspirational
city to benchmark Fort Collins’ Parks and Recreation system against, for a total of five
(5) peer cities.
B. Project Approach, 5.5 Funding Strategies is removed and replaced in its entirety with
the following:
Professional will hold a comprehensive workshop with the Core Team to evaluate
each Park and Recreation facility and reach consensus on what specific
improvements are needed, categorizing each into one of three tiers: Life Cycle
Replacement, Minor Refresh, or Major Refresh.
Service Provider Deliverable: Based on the consensus reached during the
workshop, Service Provider will develop a capital improvement plan with specific
funding amounts tied to each tier. Service Provider will provide a menu of funding
sources that would be appropriate for the City to consider in the future to meet
these needs.
3. Exhibit D, Compensation: The following tasks shall be updated as follows:
4.2 Benchmarking: Increased from $10,512.50 to $12,012.50.

5.5 Funding Strategies: Increased from $9,325.00 to $29,200.00
Travel: Reduced from $17,400.00 to $10,076.00
Total Compensation to include Travel: Increased from $299,986.93 to $314,037.93
Except as expressly amended by this Amendment #1, all other terms and conditions of the
Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. In the event of a conflict between
the terms of the Agreement and this Amendment #1, this Amendment #1 shall prevail.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment the day and year
