Can the City please provide us with some background information regarding the types of services provided and rough respective budget amounts from the past few years of the current on-call contract? Below is a brief list of previous projects and their approximate total budget: Project Approximate Total Budget (including construction) Senior Center HVAC Upgrades $1,200,000 Downtown Restrooms $450,000 Edora Restroom $150,000 Graves Camp Historic Structure Assessment (assessment) $50,000 Approximately 40 Smaller Misc. Projects ($20k - $200k) $3,500,000 2. Are the budget amounts from question #1 a reasonable expectation of what to anticipate under this new contract? The total budgets for projects we perform under this agreement range from $20,000 and up depending on the current needs. 3. Are there any specific projects identified that might be performed under this contract?  ADA Renovations  Downtown Transit Center Renovation  Other City Facility Renovations  Southeast Park Shop  Southeast Recreation Center  Downtown Parking Garage There is no guarantee on the number or size of the projects awarded under this agreement. 4. Will traffic engineering services be included in the needed services under this contract? Some projects may require traffic studies. 5. How many firms does the City anticipate selecting and contracting with? The City intends to award contracts to 1-3 firms. 6. Does the City plan on performing interviews with a pool of short-listed consultant teams, or select directly from the SOQ’s? The City plans to interview the top 3-5 firms. Page 3 of 3 7. Regarding the intent of the on-call, please confirm if you plan on selected more than one firm. Also, if you intend on selecting more than one firm, will the selected firms have to compete for the work or will you assign work based on availability and skill set? The City intends to select more than one firm. The selected on-calls will not typically be required to compete for individual projects, but the City reserves the right to compete any project depending on the project scope and size. 8. In reference to the submittal requirements under 3.e. Project List, are you requiring a complete list of all projects completed by our firm in the last two years, or all projects completed by the proposed project team members from our firm? Would you be willing to accept the project list including only projects over a certain budget? The City requests a list of all projects completed by your firm from the past two years. This list will provide information on the type and sizes of projects on which your firm works. The City’s goal is to determine whether your firm is a good fit for the types of projects we conduct. 9. Regarding the submittal requirements number 2.c. where it states “… your staff listed in 3.b.”, is it supposed to read “…your staff listed in 2.b.”? Revise section 2.c. in SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS to read: “2.c. Example of at least 3 recent and relevant projects performed by members of your staff listed in 2.b.”
