Central Maloney does not provide any design documents with bid proposal but they appear to meet our specification 3, it appears that Cooper meets our specifications but some clarifications have been sent regarding multiple sections in our specification. They state they will not provide an internal marling for fluid levels at 25 deg C. A word document has been drafted and sent to gather/provide information irom/lor them. 4. From the bid documents, it appears that Howard Industries' footprint is 7' longer than our specification states however it will still fit on our 43' x 37' surface area. Also, Howard's u is are 3' taller than our specification allows however they still fall within C57.12.38's height limitations which is what we base our uit's dieter Based on the ranking of the evaluated bids, Central Moloney care of Western United is the lowest evaluated responsible bidder and should be awarded Bid 8370. IEEE C57.12.DO, Section 9.2 Tolerances for impedance The tolerances for impedance shall be as follows: a) The impedance of a two -winding transformer with an impedance voltage greater than 2.5%shall have a tolerance of±7.5%of the specified value, and those with an impedance voltage of 2.5% or less shall have a tolerance of±10% of the specified value. Differences of impedance between duplicate two -winding transformers, when two or mote units of a given rating are produced by one manufacturer at the same time, shall not exceed 7.5% of the specified value. b) The impedance of a transformer having three or more windings, or having zigzag windings, shall have a tolerance of ±10%of the specified value. Differences of impedance between duplicate three -winding or zigzag transformers, when two or more units of a given rating are produced by one manufacturer at the same time, shall not exceed 10%of the specified value. c) The impedance of an autotransformer shall have a tolerance of±10% of the specified value. Differences of impedance between duplicate autotransformers, when two or more units of a given rating are produced by one manufacturer at the same time, shall not exceed 10%of the specified value. d) Transformers shall be considered suitable for operation in parallel when reactances come within the limitations of the preceding paragraphs, provided that turns ratios and other controlling characteristics are suitable for such operation. Howard Industries states that they do not meet our spec due to the height of design needing to be 35' rather than 32', which is our current max height. We are willing to make an exception to this height requirement since the height still falls into the general height requireents specified in C57.12.38. Based on the ranking of the evaluated bids.
