Could you please clarify whether a geotech sub is expected for this project? The RFP lists geotech/pavement design under consultant tasks, but then adds “if required.” Yes, a Geotechnical Engineer is required and a Pavement Design and Geotechnical Engineering Report is listed as a deliverable for this phase. The RFP states this item is “to be determined”, meaning that the City will need to determine if this task item fits within the current budget. 2. The RFP mentions coordinating with “advocacy groups” as part of the community involvement. Does the City anticipate anything specific? Under Section IV listed coordination with advocacy groups. This is intended to address outreach and communication with the Buckingham, Alta Vista and Andersonville neighborhoods. Each of these neighborhoods has a group of interested citizens who will need to stay informed through the design process. 3. Will the website be hosted by the consultant or through a City of Fort Collins hosted website? The website will be owned and maintained by the City. Here is the current link: http://www.fcgov.com/engineering/vine-lemay.php 4. Is there a requirement for community materials or website pages to be translated into another language? If this is deemed as necessary, the City will handle converting materials into another language. 5. Will interpreters be required at the public meetings or other stakeholder meetings? If this is deemed as necessary, the City will handle this resource. 6. If a DBE company is the prime consultant, does that count towards the City’s DBE goal? Yes
