We have incurred a significant increase in our overhead over the last year. We took a hard look at our benefits program against what the market offers and made significant changes. We are now offering paid vacation, paid holidays, and contributing to employee transportation costs. These are all new benefits at EES. The last couple of years have been very challenging with respect to employee retention. Our new rates reflect salary increases – sometimes substantial – the market required to keep good, hard working staff. We are in an economy where it has become difficult to find, recruit, and keep talented staff. At a minimum, we needed to match salaries of the companies we consider our peers.
