Scope Cc: file Page 4 of 7 DocuSign Envelope ID: 32088731-9687-4D43-8B3E-39F28348FE62 Page 2 of 4 Exhibit A City of Fort Collins Utilities On Call Services Scope of Services Project Understanding The City of Fort Collins has project record drawings of work completed at the Drake Water Reclamation Facility (DWRF) dating back to the 1950s. These documents are both hard copy and electronic providing information about underground utilities on the site. The City of Fort Collins (COFC) Utilities Department would like to develop a base map of all utilities at the DWRF site for future use. This tool would provide a better understanding for planning of future Capital Improvement Projects and future master planning efforts. The City of Fort Collins will utilize Ditesco’s on-call contract with the Utilities Department to develop an AutoCAD Civil 3D utility map of the Drake Water Reclamation Facility. Ditesco will utilize the existing CAD files provided by City to begin this base map effort. Ditesco will then further this effort through the use of as-built drawings, both hard copy and electronic to develop a base map for the DWR Facility. Phase 1 – Data Collection  Ditesco staff has participated in coordination meeting with DWRF staff to begin the process of base map data collection; this has yielded (COMPLETE)  Ditesco staff completed initial planning meetings with City of Fort Collins staff to finalize the scope of the utility mapping effort. (COMPLETE)  Ditesco staff will utilize COFC electronic project records to continue populating a Civil 3D base map. These electronic records will be supplemented with hard copy project records. This work will include added map book data to the AutoCAD base map.  Ditesco will scan any necessary hard-copies for electronic use. All scanned plan files will be furnished by the City of Fort Collins.  Ditesco will participate in ongoing project review meetings with City of Fort Collins. These are assumed to twice during this final phase of the AutoCAD mapping project. Phase 2 – Mapping  Ditesco will utilize the selected base map layer naming structure for all waste water facilities. This has been reviewed with City of Fort Collins staff prior to finalizing the mapping effort. (COMPLETE)  Ditesco will populate the map with current utility information. Any conflicting utility information will be reviewed with COFC plant staff to clarify discrepancies.  The mapping effort will identify utility type and pipe size, when known.  The mapping effort will also include project survey control points.  As an option, Ditesco has provided an estimated cost to create the GIS attribute interface for future attribute addition to the map. If this option is taken, this cost will be deducted from the future Phase 3. Phase 3 – GIS Online (future phase) • Ditesco staff will coordinate with Invision GIS to develop a GIS-based map of the Drake Water Reclamation Facility utilities. This base map will be initially developed utilizing the Civil 3D mapping file. • Ditesco staff will add attributes to all pipe systems through the GIS database as developed by Invision. • The GIS mapping database will contain polygon layers, linking PDF record drawings to the GIS map, based on the drawing area. These will not be linked individually to each attribute. • Future deliverable for this phase is an online GIS integrated map with attributes. Deliverables Deliverables will include Civil 3D AutoCAD file containing all base map utility information.
