If the City intends on performing potholing services through an existing on-call, should the proposer exclude the cost of potholing from their fee estimate? Utilities potholing costs do not need to be included in the Professional’s fee estimate. All other subsurface exploration deemed necessary by the Professional should be included (i.e. geotechnical investigation). 2. If potholing is to be included in the fee estimate, can the City provide available existing utility information in order to determine the estimated number of potholes needed and/or provide an “assumed” number of potholes required? N/A.
