Project Experience ▪ Colorado Mountain Express - Overview: Cradlepoint advised, consulted and served as Project Integrator to establish guest Wi-Fi for the ridership of this bus service which provides connections from Denver International Airport and other locations, to the mountains. The system makes use of Verizon and AT&T and is functioning very well. Cradlepoint gave the organization a thorough demonstration and walked it through the cloud management platform, conducting an extensive run- through on how to manage routers and giving associated training. This included tips and guidelines on how to manage the carrier throughput. In 2017 L.A.W.S. performed a 23-car rollout of Chevrolet Tahoes, each equipped with Cradlepoint modems and data antennae. Buses will take passengers to Denver Union Station from Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Glenwood Springs and Vail. Each 50-passenger bus has restrooms, wireless Internet, electric outlets and bike racks. Cradlepoint has been selected to enable Wi-Fi on these buses via serving in a consulting and advisory role.
