The Professional agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached forms in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Professional Services Agreement between the parties. In the event of a conflict between or ambiguity in the terms of the Professional Services Agreement and this Work Order (including the attached forms) the Professional Services Agreement shall control. The attached forms consisting of two (2) pages are hereby accepted and incorporated herein, by this reference, and Notice to Proceed is hereby given. A, WINDSOR, COLORADO 80550 TEL. 970.674.3300 – FAX 970.674.3303 September 20, 2017 Mr. Tracy Dyer City of Fort Collins – Engineering PO Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 Suniga Property Surveying Project Description and Scope of Services Dear Tracy, Attached is the project scope and description: Description Interwest and its team of subconsultants are under contract to provide topographic survey and design of Suniga Road from College Avenue to Blondel Street. When the project design was initiated, the City Survey department had planned to provide surveying related to property acquisitions. Subsequently, the City has asked that Interwest provide these services with a new work order through the On Call agreement. King Surveyors (King) will provide the services listed below: Scope of Services Legal Description – Area of Unknown Ownership – King will research and provide a legal description for the strip of land in the project area with unknown ownership. The City will condemn or otherwise acquire this land through an internal / legal proceeding. Estimated Fee: $1,200 Legal Descriptions – Areas of Known Ownership – King will prepare other legal descriptions for the project areas requiring Right of Way, Permanent Easements, and Temporary Easements. At this time, the exact count of descriptions is not known, but for the purposes of this agreement, twelve (12) descriptions at $600 each is assumed. Estimated Fee: $7,200 Right of Way / Easement Stakeout – King will be available to stake proposed right of way and easements in the field during the negotiations for the takings. The fee below assumes three (3) half day trips to the site and associated office time for the setup of the staking. Estimated Fee: $2,400 Additional Topographic Survey – Additional topographic survey will be needed in the adjacent parking lots and on the west side of College Avenue to design any mitigation and the proposed signal. King and Primo Utility Locators will provide this work and add it to the 2016 topographic survey. Estimated Fee: $3,000 Assumptions– 1. Title Commitments and copies of the Schedule B Exceptions will be provided by the City. 2. Any services required for the project not specifically discussed above will be provided by the City. 3. No traffic control is anticipated with this phase of the project. Schedule We can proceed immediately with the project.
