Re: Linden Duct Bank – Change Order 1
Dear Mr. Irish:
Exponential Engineering Company (EEC) is requesting a change order to provide
the City of Fort Collins with additional professional engineering services for the
Linden Duct Bank project.
EEC proposes the following not to exceed price agreement for the scope listed herein
as follows:
Not-to-Exceed
Linden Duct Bank: Change Order 1 $6,010
The price provided is for the work scope outlined in this letter only. Any work outside
of this scope will be considered extra and negotiated with the City of Fort Collins.
Scope of Work:
1. Base Map Survey: Lat40 will survey utility locates, pothole locations, and
elevation information necessary for the modified vault location and duct bank
routing. EEC will coordinate potholing and pothole survey.
2. Base Map Profile Drawings: Lat40 will extend the profile drawings
approximately 70 feet north of the vault location within Vine Drive to the
modified vault location north of the intersection at Linden Street and Vine
Drive. EEC will update the profile drawings for vault relocation and associated
duct bank.
3. Construction Staking: EEC will perform construction staking consisting of one
site trip to stake the centerline and offsets for for one vault and 70 linear feet
of duct bank.

Linden Duct Bank Items Not Included in Scope of Work:
1. Utility locates for potholing and construction will be ordered by Colorado
Boring Company.
2. Colorado Boring Company will provide potholing services.
