Answer: Information on the GHG inventory can be found here: http://www.fcgov.com/climateprotection/pdf/2014_Community_QMP_091914.pdf . Future forecasting for GHG savings is based on industry standards and measures are currently be reviewed internally. To our knowledge there are not ICLEI protocols for potential saving measures, only the initial inventory. 2) Is the City's GHG model created and maintained by internal City staff or consultants? Answer: The model was created and is maintained by internal City staff. 3) What program/software is used for the City's model? (ie, GIS modeling, excel spreadsheet based, etc) Answer: The model is an excel spreadsheet. 4) Is the current model detail available for review, or will this just be made available for the selected team? Answer: It will be made available to the selected team. 5) The RFP indicates a total of $75,000 for sequestration initiatives and notes that only a portion of that budget is intended for the report. Can you clarify how much of that budget needs to be retained for uses outside of the report work? Can you clarify the intended use of the non-report portion of the fund? (ie, is the intent that portion of the budget would be expended on setting up pilot project recommendations that come out of the report?) Answer: There is no defined work at this point. The statement was made because perceptions of the value of this report varied by the working group. 6) On the RFP submission, will a cover letter and the Vendor Statement (item 4, page 7 of the RFP) be included in the 10 page submission limitation? Answer: Yes. Don’t get carried away with resumes; brief biographies will do. Our main concern is; have you done prior work that is similar to the task we have here? And; if you have work samples, keep those separate from the rest of your proposal (i.e., as “optional viewing”). We are asking you to be direct and to the point; not to fill your proposal with extraneous promotional materials.
