Can we bid just the Troutman project without bidding the other aspects of the RFP? The City is looking for proposals that address all aspects of the RFP. We therefore do not encourage proposals to only respond to the Troutman project. 2. In reference to the Maintenance Bid Schedule, Item # 9, Petromat Resurfacing, I would like to ask for an equal status be granted for using the California Products Acrylic Resurfacer, in lieu of the Hawker Laykold Resurfacer, line 13? I would also ask for the same equal status on line 14, using the California Products Colorcoat Concentrate in lieu of the Hawker Colorcoat Concentrate? The City approves both “as equal” items. 3. On item # 7, Plexicushion surfacing system, Do you have a specific system in mind? This has various systems available? Are you thinking of the system we use with the Armor crack repair? It's a four coat system. Yes, the Armor crack repair system is required. 4. On item # 10, Slip Sheet, Can this per court = 1 = be construed as 7200 square feet? Yes 5. On item # 13, what should we figure to use for horizontal rail footage replacement? Examples: Top rail only = 360'. Top & bottom rail = 720'. Top, middle and bottom rail = 1080'? Top & bottom rail 720’ 6. On item # 14 should each mean one pair? Yes 7. On items # 18 & 20, does LS = 1 = 7200 Sq. feet? Yes 8. On items 19 & 21, does LS = 1 = 6000 Sq. feet? Yes 9. On items 22 & 23, what total depth should we use for removal of base and asphalt? Assume removal of 3”-4” of asphalt and 6” of compacted base course. Contact Project Manager if site conditions vary and pricing can be negotiated based on existing conditions. On item # 24, LS price will be absent of any crack filling/repair, correct? Yes QUESTIONS REGARDING PROJECT #1 12. Will the City provide the needed access to courts? Yes 13.
