MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLING LIQUID ASPHALT COSTS FOR THE 2017 SEASON. THESE COSTS ARE
NOT TO BE ADJUSTED FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE 2017 SUPPLY CONTRACT. THESE COSTS ARE
INTENDED TO BE LOCKED IN FOR THE LENGTH OF THE CONTRACT FROM DATE SIGNED TO THE
SAME DATE IN THE FOLLOWING YEAR.

1. How will the COFC determine which plant they select to purchase from for each project they
do? For example will the total delivered price to the project be used or will the asphalt price
alone govern the selection?
The City of Fort Collins will select which plant to use based on vicinity to the
scheduled project, the quality of mix, etc.; however the price of the mix shall be
the main driver of the selection. The City utilizes internal and external forces and
trucks for their jobs, so calculating the delivered price is not an accurate
representation of our needs.
2. Is there a list of streets available?
This supply will be utilized by all of the Streets crews. The mix will be used with
misc. patching efforts as well as full repaving of roadways and unexpected
circumstances that may arise. The scheduled streets for repaving can be
provided as it is currently scheduled after bid opening, but they are subject to
change.
3. Will the COFC accept a qualification for night and weekend purchases?
See attached Revised Bid Schedule, which includes pricing for optional night and
weekend up-charge.
