If the renewal is acceptable to your firm, please sign this letter in the space provided and include a current copy of insurance certificate naming the City as an additional insured for General and Automotive Liability within the next fifteen (15) days. If this extension is not agreeable with your firm, we ask that you send us a written notice stating that you do not wish to renew the contract and state the reason for non-renewal. This new system will come live as of April 1, 2017. All employees are required to confirm their job nightly and will be able to do so at the touch of a button. Allowing for a more timely and efficient schedule. ➢ Morning Procedures All scheduled flaggers are sent a reminder of their job location and start time in the morning 90 minutes prior to their start time. ❖ Emergencies One call anytime 24/7 gets you 4 dispatchers working diligently to fill your emergencies and keep you and your customers happy. ❖ Training… Going above and beyond…. Andy Willems, Peggy Tarango, Shanna Rethmann and Erica Wood are proctors with CDOT’s flagging program. Andy Willems is ATSSA certified as a TCT, TCS, and Flagger Instructor. Our training includes a certified TCS guided explanation with an in depth power point presentation and role play demonstrating proper flagging techniques in all Temporary Traffic Control Zones. This training also includes in depth training on the risks and safety protocol all flaggers need to adhere to according to the MUTCD and Colorado Department of Transportation regulations. She handles all our certified Payrolls. Dakotah is experienced in manual forms as well as LCP Tracker. ➢ General Manager of Operations Shanna Rethmann is our super woman and takes care of overseeing all daily operations as well as employee scheduling, payroll verification, supervise and manage all office staff and pretty much anything and everything that comes our way. ➢ Northern Colorado Our Fort Collins Branch Manager Peggy Tarrango is a huge asset to our company. Our Northern Colorado crew is very close and loyal to her, as she takes excellent care of not only the Contractors but the employees as well. ➢ Dispatcher Erica Wood is our nightly dispatcher. She writes overseas and manages the flagger schedule on a daily basis. Her professionalism and patience is second to none. ❖ Policies and Employment Screening ➢ Zero tolerance Drug and alcohol policy that include “with reasonable cause” test policy. They provide management of all work comp cases as well as doing weekly random jobsite checks. ESI provides reports with pictures every week so that we can address ongoing issues in our safety memo’s. All Flaggers Inc employees are hired as W-2 employees and are expected to be available to Flaggers Inc for work EVERYDAY. They are provided a weekly paycheck and therefore this motivates them to remain consistent on jobsites ❖ Attitude- Work Ethic is priority. All our Flaggers are given scenarios and asked to answer questions during the interview process. They are taught to be non-confrontational and understand that every supervisor/jobsite is different. All Flaggers Inc flaggers are taught to conform graciously to whoever is overseeing their assigned jobsite. Although Flaggers Inc flaggers are also instructed to advocate for themselves in dangerous situations and to always let us know when they feel unsafe. By giving them actual situations in orientation, and how to handle them, we arm them with the tools to remain professional in all situations. And along with that be able to recognize dangerous situations and how to handle them. ❖ Bonus Features ➢ Minority Certifications Flaggers Inc holds a DBE, MWBE, SBE and EBE Certification. These beneficial minority status’ can by utilized meeting quotas and bidding new work. ❖ Customized Invoicing We will invoice in a timely and efficient manner. All invoices will be sent on a weekly basis. Our work week runs from Sunday to Saturday.
