This task was not in our original scope of work, and the additional fees for these services as outlined below are requested. The following scope is additional to the current contract scope and represents the process we believe will be successful to complete this project: SOUND MONITORING SYSTEM DESIGN ADDITIONAL SCOPE Sound Monitoring System Design - D.L. Adams Associates 1. Consult and Design of a permanent noise monitoring system for the Gardens on Spring Creek Amphitheatre. The system will monitor the noise impact of the Gardens at desig- nated locations within the Gardens Property. The system will be designed to interface with an audio processor to reduce the level of a portable sound system when the noise threshold has been exceeded. 2. Prepare documentation and specifications to allow for a contractor to bid on providing and installing the noise monitoring system. 3. Coordinate power and mounting requirements with Architect and other disciplines. 4. Attend a meeting in Fort Collins to review options and associated costs for the noise monitoring system. During this meeting the power and mounting requirements will be coordinated and discussed. 5. Respond to RFI and Provide Construction administration during construction. 6. After construction is complete but before the first use, calibrate and commission the noise monitoring system on site to provide accurate noise level readings and provide the appropriate level reduction of a portable system.
