EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. Could you provide the Engineers estimate for bid bond purposes?
The City of Fort Collins is not providing an Engineer’s Estimate for the project.
Pursuant to SECTION 00020 INVITATION TO BID, Bid security in the amount of not
less than 5% of the total Bid must accompany each Bid.
2. Is a Performance/Payment Bond required? Builders Risk?
Performance and Payment Bonds are required, pursuant to SECTION 00610 AND
SECTION 00615. Builder’s Risk is not required in the base bid. If needed as a part
of the project, the City will furnish separately.
3. I assume the project is tax exempt?
All City of Fort Collins projects are tax exempt.
4. Who is responsible for testing?
All testing will be the responsibility of the City of Fort Collins.
