Program Info
• 200 minor bridges (4’ – 20’ span)
• 132 inspected
• 12 and 24 months cycle
• 70 bridges each cycle
• Between October 15 and April 15
• Confined space inspections

Inspection Standard
• RFP called for Pontis
• Might have licensing problem
• City has decided not to required consultant to use
Pontis.
• Consultant to submit inspection report to included
all info required by CDOT when they were using
Pontis.

Inspection Submittal
• One printed copy of bridge inspection report.
Rating and photo pages shall be in color.
• One PDF file of above for each bridge.
• Digital photos in individual bridge folder. Use
description for photo files name.
• Autocad or Microstation electronic files of bridge
sketches.
• PDF of rating calculation where applicable.
• Excel or Access table of bridge inspection info.

Proposal Submittal
• Propose how you would accomplish giving the
city what they required for bridge inspection
report
• Cost to develop the above. City will own the end
product and all rights to it. Must use software that
City already have i.e. Microsoft Office
• Cost for inspecting a new bridge – Not previously
inspected or no prior inspection report
• Cost for re-inspection of a bridge

Proposal Submittal
• Cost for confine space inspection – both new and
re-inspection
• Cost for rating a bridge – Calculation. Visual
rating will not be paid for
• Any other cost the consultant deem appropriate
as it relates to bridge inspection work
• Staffs hourly rate for any work other then bridge
inspections
