SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Description of RFP 8337: General Abatement Contractor
OPENING DATE: 3:00 PM (Our Clock) July 28, 2016
To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above,
the following changes/additions are hereby made and detailed as follows:
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. Concerning the Lincoln Center Project
a. It was mentioned during the site visit that work would have to be performed in
between events at the Lincoln Center. What length of time can we assume we’ll
have to perform abatement? 2 weeks
b. We need to vent our containments to the outside. Are there operable windows that
we can have access to for ventilation? No
c. Can we hook up our temp electrical panels to house power? Yes
d. Who’s responsible for protecting existing conditions: carpeting, walls, etc?
Abatement contractor
e. Can a dumpster be placed somewhere on site while we’re working? Yes in the alley
near the stage entrance
2. Concerning the overall on-call contract
a. Who is responsible for obtaining and paying for final air clearances? City of Fort
Collins
b. Who is responsible for additional material sampling? City of Fort Collins
