We understand a 100% payment & performance bond is required – do you also need a bid bond, or no? Refer to question 4 in Addendum 1 regarding Performance and Payment Bond requirements. A bid bond is not required at the time of proposal submittal. 2. Can you please provide us with the prevailing wage rates we are to use for this project? There are no prevailing wage rate requirements to be used for this project. 3. The provided layout looks to be at a very low tilt, maybe even 0°. Is the goal of the system to be max kW installed or highest production? Usually going below 10° or 5° tilt in CO is not a good idea for sun angle and snow. The City of Fort Collins is looking to the successful vendor to provide the best angle possible for maximum production. 4. The provided layout shows one access walkway down the middle of the array – will that suffice for walkways? The layout provided was for example only and access to the panels for future maintenance will be decided during the final design of the system. 5. Can the inverters be installed on the roof near the array? NEC Code requires that we have an inverter or shutdown disconnect within 10’ of the PV array. The City of Fort Collins is looking for options due to space limitations on where to mount the inverters. Overall, the City is open to suggestions. 6. Can Roof Check please confirm whether or not the roof manufacturer will require TPO slip sheets underneath our PV racks? Roof Check has confirmed that they require TPO slip sheets under the PV panels/racks.
