Addendum 2 – 8312 Transcription Services Page 2 of 2
EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1) In Section II - Scope of Services, the Turnaround Time paragraph on page 3 states that “Priority
reports must be turned around in 24 hours or less” and that “remaining reports must be turned
around within 24-48 hours.” That seems to directly conflict with what is stated in Section III –
Submittal Requirements. Paragraph 5 – Cost Schedule on page 5 states that “the pricing must
also include any cost variance 24 hour turnaround and priority turnaround (6-12 hours).” Can
you please clarify whether the Priority turnaround is 24 hours as per the Scope of Services, or if
it is 6-12 hours as per the Cost Schedule paragraph in the Submittal Requirements section? And
likewise, can you please clarify whether the longer turnaround is 24-48 hours as per the Scope
of Services, or if it is 24 hours as per the Cost Schedule?
Answer:
We need priority reports completed in less than 24 hours (23 hours 59 minutes, or
less). For our standard reports, we need them completed within 24-48 hours. The
current provider says they have a 24 hour turnaround, but they often exceed 24 hours
and in many cases it is 48-72 hours. Proposing companies must at least break down
the cost for less than 24 hours and 24-48 hours. If they can turn over reports in 6 hours
or 12 hours, then they should provide that pricing as well.
