ADDENDUM NO. 1
SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Description of BID: 8262 HAY CUTTING AT NRC CO - 1 NATURAL AREA
OPENING DATE: 3:00 PM (Our Clock) March 18, 2016
To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above,
the following changes/additions are hereby made and detailed in the following sections of this
addendum:
1. Note that the following section in the Scope of Work on the original Bid is being removed
and replaced with the following statement:
B. Payment
If the payment option specifies the Service Provider is to pay the City for performance of
the contract, payments shall be scheduled as follows: 50% of the payment shall be due
to the City prior to the commencement of haying, with final payment due thirty (30) days
after the haying is completed based on the actual number of acres hayed as mutually
agreed by the parties.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. Q: The alfalfa in this field matures before the July 10 restriction. This reduces the quality
and value of the hay. Is this date flexible?
A: The date is flexible and will be negotiated and mutually agreed upon between the
selected Service Provider(s) and the City prior to contract signing. The date of July 10 is
hereby removed from the revised Bid Schedule. Bidders should use the attached Bid
Schedule for bid submittal.

BID OPENING: 3:00 P.M. (our clock), MARCH 18, 2016
WE HEREBY ENTER OUR BID FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS' REQUIREMENTS FOR
BID 8262 HAY CUTTING AT NRC CO - 1 NATURAL AREA PER THE BID INVITATION AND
ANY REFERENCED SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS.
The City of Fort Collins is requesting bids for hay cutting services on specified Natural Area(s)
located within and near Fort Collins. Vegetation to be hayed consists of irrigated smooth
brome/alfalfa mix. The Service Provider will be responsible for cutting, bailing and removing all
hay from the properties specified below.
Natural Area includes:
1. NCR CO – 1, consisting of approximately 75 acres
The City reserves the right to award in the best interest of the City and may award as a
group or on an individual basis.
