The project scope indicates a report is to be completed in draft form by mid-May and in final form by mid-June. At the earliest, we foresee a contract being executed at the end of March, leaving only 6 weeks to perform the work scope before submitting the draft report. This seems inconsistent with the timeline on page 5 of the RFP, which shows the options evaluation occurring in early 2017. Is the mid-May draft report date accurate, and is there any additional time that is available to complete the draft report in order to ensure a comprehensive assessment? Answer: The project timeline, including the deadline for submitting the draft report, is open to amendment during contract negotiation with the selected vendor. Timely completion of the work is desirable, but a comprehensive assessment is most important. The 2017 “options evaluation” appearing in the timeline on page 5 of the RFP includes review of multiple sources of information in addition to the scope of work associated with RFP 8251. 2. No meetings with the Wasteshed Planning Coalition are identified in the work scope. Are any meetings contemplated or desired by the Coalition, and if so how many? Answer: A meeting between the Regional Wasteshed Coalition and the selected vendor during the research phase is desired, but may be conducted remotely. An opportunity to meet in person or remotely with the Coalition will also arise during the period of time between the submittal of the draft report and the production of a final report so the vendor may receive verbal feedback in addition to written comments.
