SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Description of RFP 8248: Road Maintenance at Soapstone Natural Area
OPENING DATE: 3:00 PM (Our Clock) February 26, 2016
To all prospective bidders under the specifications and contract documents described above,
the following changes/additions are hereby made and as follows:
Questions & Answers
1. How and where do the road maintenance contractors get water?
At this time, an on-site water source is yet to be confirmed. Responses to
the RFP should presume water must be hauled from elsewhere. If an
agreement can be negotiated with the ditch company, water will most likely
be pulled from the ditch at CR70 and CR15.
2. Can water storage vessels be left on site? If so, where?
Water storage vessels can be left on site. The exact location is yet to be
determined.
3. Should trucking/hauling prices be included in the RFP?
Trucking and hauling rates per hour should be included with the RFP, but
not material prices.
4. Who obtains material for the road?
The City of Fort Collins will provide material for road maintenance.

RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED BY A WRITTEN STATEMENT
