EXHIBIT 2 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. On page 4 of your ITB, requirement # 3 ask the contractor to provide the city with a list of
the cleaning agents to and the Safety Data Sheet for each product. Do you want that
information submitted with the bid or after, once the contract has been awarded?
Yes, that required information is expected to be submitted with the bid
2. On page 4 of your ITB, requirement #4 reads "The City must receive a copy of the
agreement and/or contract made with the waste disposal facility used to dispose of waste
water from pressure washing referred to in this contract." Do you want the copy of that
contract or agreement attached to the bid to be submitted or after the contract has been
awarded?
Yes, that required information is expected to be submitted with the bid
3. In the areas on the sidewalks that are fenced off and have patio furniture, specifically in front
of restaurants, would you like us to move the furniture and pressure-wash up to the building
or not?
Fenced in areas in front of restaurants are not required to be pressure-washed.
4. In Location #15, was it only specific sections in the courtyard that are to be pressured-
washed or it is the entire courtyard area?
The entire Old town Square is expected to be pressure washed with the exception
of the black granite oval-shaped interactive water feature area and all of the
privately operated outdoor restaurant/bar patios.
5. Do you have a preferred location (s) where you would like us to get the water?
Large volume water filling is available at the City of Fort Collins Utility Operations
building 700 Wood Street. Using tank water is usually only needed when our
sprinkler systems have not been charged up for the season. Once the sprinkler
systems have been charged up, your pressure washing operation is encouraged
to use our quick coupler system to provide water to the pressure washing system.
The quick coupler system is available throughout the downtown area.
6. We would like to add another question: in the areas in the schedule where the bid says "six
(6) monthly cleanings ...", does that mean it needs to be cleaned six times per month or
once a month for the six months period states in the schedule?
It means once a month for six consecutive months. Please see Exhibit 2.
7. Are traffic plans needed?
Not needed
8. When does work need to be done?
No earlier than 3am and no later than 9am
