Is the City of Fort Collins requiring Builder’s Risk coverage for the Proposal for the above- referenced Project, and should we include the extra cost of that coverage in our Proposal? The City of Fort Collins is not requiring Builder’s Risk for this proposal. All contractors must meet the City of Fort Collins minimum insurance requirements which are outlined in the Exhibit “Insurance Requirements” included as part of the Request for Proposal. 2. Please advise on which items should, and should not, be included as a part of the 25-page limit for the proposal due 22 Jan. The 25-page proposal should include items that describe your requisite experience and qualifications to successfully complete the project, as outlined in Section II of the RFP. Items that come from other companies or firms that are used as reference data (such as licenses, letters, statements, certificates, etc.) can be included in an appendix. Some examples of possible appendix items are as follows: copies of general contracting licenses held by the company, audited financial statements, letters from the bonding agent indicating bonding capacity, or certificates of insurance outlining details of coverage and policy limitations. Some examples of items to include in the 25-pages are as follows: example of a project schedule from a similar sized project, listings of company labor and equipment resources, safety record statistics, etc.
