Sincerely, Greg Woods Greg Woods Account Manager Exodus Moving & Storage Project Understanding Our understanding of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: - The City is remodeling the Utilities Services Center, located at 700 Wood Street - The project will be completed in 5 phases. The 1st phase already has begun, and the final phase is scheduled to be complete in January 2017 - For each phase the selected vendor will remove all furnishings and contents from the appropriate areas (includes disassembly of some furniture), store the furnishings in storage trailers, then move back into the building when the remodel is complete (includes reassembly of some furniture). o Electronics will be stored somewhere in the facility o Most offices will be set up with the same configuration as they are currently - Reliability, performance, professionalism, timeliness, and response are essential to the success of the vendor - This RFP is for a 5-year timeframe with 1-year renewal notices. Team Profile Exodus Moving and Storage is celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2016. We are a FORT COLLINS COMPANY, and always have been! We are located at 120 NE Frontage Road in Fort Collins. Due to our close proximity to the City’s many locations, we believe that we are the ONLY Moving & Storage Company in Northern Colorado that is certified, trained, and equipped to properly perform this contract. In fact, travel time will be less than 20 minutes each way from almost all City facilities. Recent and Relevant Projects City of Fort Collins Exodus Moving and Storage has performed numerous moves for the City over many, many years. Some of the most significant projects included: - City of Fort Collins Police Services: Exodus successfully completed the relocation from the old LaPorte Avenue location to the new facility on Timberline Road. This relocation took a significant amount of planning, especially in regards to the relocation of evidence. - City of Fort Collins Mason Street Administration Building: Exodus relocated departments to this facility from many facilities throughout the Old Town area. By all accounts, this move was completed in excellent fashion. - City of Fort Collins Refrigerator/Freezer Program: For nearly 5 years, Exodus has been supporting the City with their refrigerator/freezer collection program. We have received very positive remarks from our customers regarding our timeliness and professionalism. In fact, we received the following e-mail only last week: Colorado State University Brady Carlstrom Project Manager (970) 567-1089 Have performed numerous projects throughout the campus. Recently relocated the Accounts Payable files for the entire University. This relocation took place over a three-day period, and required keeping all boxes in order. Have also performed offsite and onsite laboratory moves including significant amounts of sensitive lab equipment. Sensitive equipment included -80 Degree freezers, growth chambers, force-draft drying ovens, and incubators. Our team recently completed the division of the Hewlett-Packard companies at the Fort Collins location. This was a 9-month project, and when complete, our team performed over 1,100 employee relocations as well as numerous labs, etc. Larimer County – Facilities Department / Clerk & Recorder Connie Gunter Facilities Planner (970) 498-5909 We currently hold a 5 year contract with Larimer County that makes Exodus the exclusive mover of all county entities until the year 2016. We have preformed ongoing work throughout the past 8 years. “I really appreciate your staff’s efficiency and the care they take to protect our buildings! In late 2015 and early 2016 we completed the relocation of the Fire Safety Program to Aims’ new Windsor Campus. A year earlier, we successfully relocated their Automotive Program. In 2010 Exodus worked the entire summer to consolidate leased buildings onto the main campus in Greeley. The relocation was completed over two days, and focused on limiting downtime to allow their staff to maintain their work schedule with their customers. Liggett & Johnson, P.C. Shauna Metzo Office Manager (970) 482-9770 Successfully relocated their offices in the Spring of 2015. The move involved large executive desks and furniture, as well as thousands of case files. The move was performed on time and within budget. Fort Collins Board of Realtors Clint Skutchan Executive Vice President (970) 402-0852 Relocated their offices, training rooms, and all associated contents to their new headquarters in Fort Collins in 2014. The relocation focused on limiting the staff’s downtime. The entire process was completed on time and under budget. Poudre Valley Health Services – UC Health Gloria Stauff Executive Assistant to the CEO (970)237-7002 Erica DeMint Physician Recruitment Manager (970) 237-7053 We currently work with PVHS/UC Health for almost all of their Physician relocations into the Northern Colorado area and we also assist with the local business relocations and storage for PVHS. Capacity We currently employ 60 full-time crewmembers and 8 part-time crew members -- WE DO NOT USE SUBCONTRACTED WORKERS. We own over 200 flat dollies, 100 moving carts, moving totes, and all other equipment needed to complete any move. We have 15 straight trucks, 5 semi tractors, one pack van, two flatbed trailers, and three forklifts. Our promise to the City of Fort Collins is that their projects will ALWAYS take precedence over other possible moves, as long as the City provides Exodus with at least 5 days notice of any “large” projects. Richard Evans, Operations Director Richard is responsible for all operations within the company. Richard’s 7 years of experience in the moving and storage industry allows him to problem solve to ensure our customers’ satisfaction. He oversees scheduling, dispatching, fleet maintenance, warehouse oversight, as well as all crew members. Mike Leonard, Crew Supervisor Mike has led numerous successful commercial moves during his 3-year tenure with Exodus. Mike, along with his seasoned team, has performed over 30 commercial moves this calendar year alone. These customers include the National Park Service, Front Range Community College, ISS Facility Management, as well as numerous moves for Colorado State University. President – Ilan Levy Ilan is the owner of Exodus Moving & Storage, is the leader of the Exodus Team. He will be involved with all operations on a daily basis. He has 24 years of experience in the moving industry and is a Certified Moving Consultant (CMC) with the American Moving and Storage Association. Ilan has personally completed many moves for the City of Fort Collins, and he fully knows what is involved and required of us.
