HomeMy WebLinkAboutCORRESPONDENCE - RFP - 7265 WASTE STREAM ANALYSIS STUDY (8)Exhibit A Scope of Services for City of Fort Collins Waste Characterization Study 4/29/16; The City of Fort Collins did get the go-ahead from Les Brown at Larimer County Purchasing to piggyback on their contract with Sloan Vazquez McAfee: Larimer County Waste Characterization Study Services Agreement P-1541 For the budget nor to exceed $20,000.00; the City of Fort Collins will receive services from Sloan Vazquez McAfee per one of the two Options (or some combination thereof) under the direction of the City’s Project Manager, Caroline Mitchell: Option 1: Considering the estimated $12,400 cost of the initial study and the $20,000 project budget, Fort Collins’ sampling should breakdown, as follows: a. 20 samples Fort Collins-specific study ($14,400 - $2,000 (estimate) = $12,400 b. $20,000 - $12,400 (20 samples) = $7,600 (remaining budget) c. $7,600 / $720 sample = 11 additional samples to be completed d. A total of 31 samples to be allocated between designated waste streams Option 2: Here’s what I propose to complete for an amount not-to-exceed the proposed $20K budget: 1) The originally proposed 20 hand-sorted samples 2) An additional 16 hand-sorted samples 3) 14 self-haul samples (visually allocated) 4) A total of 50 samples to be allocated between designated waste streams Sloan Vazquez McAfee will submit to the City of Fort Collins Certificate(s) of Insurance naming the City of Fort Collins as an Additional Insured in accordance with Exhibit B, attached.
