o Improve safety and connectivity for bikes
o Design spot intersection improvements
o Coordinate work with CSU at Shields and College
o Examine the entire corridor as a system
o Bike Planning and Civil Engineering capabilities
(i.e. plan set production, civil construction)
o Final engineering plans, specs, and estimates
o Graphics/exhibits and renderings for public
involvement – City will coordinate outreach plan

o Proven experience with bicycle specific design
solutions
o Civil Engineering capabilities (plan set production,
specifications, estimates, drainage, standards, etc.)
o A thorough understanding of the project and a defined
approach
o Flexibility and able to work with several entities
