Do all vendors need to supply a sustainability overview, or does it only apply to new vendors? Does the sustainability overview count towards the 25 page limit? Answer: All vendors must provide a sustainability overview. The sustainability overview does count towards the 25 page limit. It may be included either as an appendix or within the proposal text. 2. Does the Certification Regarding Lobbying count towards the 25 page total for the proposal? Is this only required for the prime firm or for subs as well? Answer: No, the certification does not count towards the 25 page total. The certification is only required for the prime firm. 3. As part of the Final Engineering Phase, the RFP notes environmental clearances including resource management plans and obtaining necessary permits will be required. Do you have an environmental consultant that you would like us to coordinate with or should we add an environmental subconsultant to our team? Answer: It is anticipated that CDOT will be able to do all of the required environmental clearances. A separate environmental consultant is not required at this point to do surveys, clearances, etc. Proper permits will need to be obtained through the City and State as required through the design process, but the City and CDOT should be able to coordinate this. If it’s determined that additional environmental services are required it will be addressed at that time. The Consultant should be able to prepare stormwater management plans and incorporate stormwater Best Management Practices into the final design. 4. Does a cover letter count towards the 25 page limit? Answer: No. 5. Is the 25 page limit 25 single sided sheets or 25 double sided sheets? Answer: The limit is 25 single sided sheets.
