Addendum 2 – 8191 College & Prospect Intersection Improvements Page 2 of 2
EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. Do exhibits count towards the 25-page limit for the proposal?
Answer: Yes.
2. Under Project Kickoff and Scoping Phase, potholing and survey of potholed utilities are
listed under consultant tasks. Will these services be performed by the City or the
Consultant?
Answer: The Consultant will be responsible for coordinating potholing and
locating utilities. City survey crews will perform the survey of the
potholed utilities in coordination with the Consultant potholing.
3. Under Preliminary Engineering Phase (30% Design – FIR), some geotechnical
investigation is required, but without a pavement design or engineering report. However,
in that same section, under Deliverables, a pavement design and report are required.
What is the extent of the geotechnical investigation and design anticipated?
Answer: See the answer to question 4 from Addendum 1. The Consultant will
perform geotechnical investigations/borings of the existing
pavement and subgrade and the City plans to match existing
pavement sections. At this point, a full pavement report is not
anticipated. If it is determined through these investigations that a
full pavement design report is required, it will be addressed at that
time.
