Do you have maps and flow data for the line segments in RFP 8123? This will be critical to determine the pricing. A.1 Stormwater – Maps are available with descriptions of the issues. Stormwater does not have flow data for these lines, and typically only carry water when it’s raining or landscape irrigation water is flowing. A.1 Wastewater – Maps are available. Contractors will need to sign a release form prior to the City releasing the maps to them. Email Pat Johnson at pjohnson@fcgov.com, providing an email address of where to send the release form. For purposes of bidding, assume the line(s) are at full capacity. After a contract is awarded, the City will negotiate with the awarded contractor based on actual flow rates. The negotiation will take place with the awarded contractor this year and on an annual basis as we prepare for the upcoming season’s work. Q2. I am wanting to put together numbers for the bypass portion of this project and I was wondering who I could get in contact with to provide me with the following: 1. Max peak flow of the system 2. Distance of the bypass A2.1. Wastewater – Peak flows Mulberry WRF 6MGD; Drake WRF 23 MGD. A2.2 The distance of the bypass is based on the length of the line segment. Q3. In years past, the RFP did not include pricing and was an unidentified scope. It seems there is a definitive scope at least for the first year. Can COFC provide maps and locations to the scope of work as well as flows for the diameters above 12 “? It is difficult to price at the quantities stated without the above information. A3. For purposes of bidding, assume the line(s) are at full capacity. After a contract is awarded, the City will negotiate with the awarded contractor based on actual flow rates. The negotiation will take place with the awarded contractor this year and on an annual basis as we prepare for the upcoming season’s work. Q4. Is it acceptable to reference our Five Year Project List for this section which will be an attachment, as it includes the information being requested for 3.g? A4. Yes, it is acceptable to reference the 5 year project list. Q5. We have a number of attachments (resume’s, safety records, etc.) that in our interpretation of the proposal requirements should be included. While the proposal itself will be under the 25-page limit, the attachments comprise that much (including divider pages, sustainability section, etc.). A5. Resumes and safety records should be included in the proposal’s 25 page limit. The Financial documents do not need to be part of the 25 page limit and may be sent as a separate document. Addendum 2 – 8123 Cured-in-Place Sanitary Sewers/Stormwater Mains Rehabilitation Page 3 of 3 Q6. In 4., Company Resources: “List all projects and contract amounts completed by the firm in the past five years”. Then in 5, Project experience: more defined with additional information but same reference of ALL completed in the past 5 years. Please clarify and change to either eliminate or as an attachment to the 25 pages. A6. #4 is a list of projects with their respective contract amounts. Some firms may provide other services as well as the main one requested, so their list of overall projects (#4) may be larger. #5 provides more detail regarding the ‘cured-in-place projects’. The lists may be combined.
