EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q1. Per pages six and seven of the RFP, we are to submit detailed resumes of
individuals proposed to fill key positions. The last sentence asks us to limit
resumes to one-half page. Can you clarify whether you are expecting detailed or
brief resumes and whether they count toward the overall page count?
A1. We are expecting resumes limited to one-half page Per Section
III.G.2. Resumes will be counted toward the final page count since they
are not listed in Section III.F under the exclusions.
Q2. Will the city be providing the utility locating, or should utility locates be included in
the proposal for the two projects?
A2. The City will not provide utility locating services.
Q3. Does the city have as-builts of the utilities, including services for the sanitary sewer
and the two water lines in Howes Street?
A3. For purposes of the RFP, assume this information is not available.
Q4. Does the city have a water model to build upon for the water main replacement, or
would a new water model be created as part of the project?
A4. Modifications to the Citywide water model would be required.
Q5. Would the city provide Civil 3D templates, styles, layers, etc. to be used for the
drawings?
A5. No, the City does not have a standard Civil 3D template, however it is
expected that drawings and CAD files produced for each project remain
consistent.
Q6. Per page six of the RFP, Section F, we need to provide fee schedules for all of our
sub-consultants. We are identifying eight sub-consultants, so a significant amount
of pages will be taken for each fee schedule. Will fee schedules be counted
towards the page limit?
A6. Yes, fee schedules will be counted towards the page limit.
Q7. The figure provided for the Howes Street Waterline project included utility
information. For the Mulberry Riverside Storm Sewer project, can a similar utility
map or the supporting GIS data be provided for the consultants to better assess
the scope of the project?
A7. The figure for Mulberry Riverside Storm Sewer Project is attached on the
following page.
