2015 Contract Renewal:
1. Revisions and or Additions:
a. To remove snow and ice hazards to include;
i. 2-MAX BRT Station Platforms located at 2125 and 2170 MAX Guideway named
Spring Creek Stations. See Exhibit D.
ii. The Overpass and the Ramps on the West and East side of the Overpass which is
located between the two Spring Creek Platforms. See Exhibit D.
b. Clearing of snow shall occur prior to Transfort Service’s high traffic periods and continuously
throughout the time frame of each snow fall where snow has/is falling and there is at
minimum or trace accumulation on the specified areas to be cleared.
i. Downtown Transit Center – Prior to 4:30 AM
ii. Spring Creek Station Platforms and Overpass and Ramps - Prior to 5:00 AM
iii. Transfort Maintenance Facility –
1. Areas noted on Exhibit D, to include employee vehicle parking between
12:30 AM & 4:30 AM.
2. Areas noted on Exhibit D to include, bus travel lanes, entrance and exit
driveways and the sidewalk on the Westside of the Transfort Maintenance
Facility along Portner Road – Prior to 4:30 AM
3. Areas noted on Exhibit D, to include Bus Training Tarmac – Prior to 8:00 AM
4. Areas noted on Exhibit D to include the sidewalk to the south of Transfort
Maintenance Facility along Trilby Road - Prior to 8:00 AM
5. Contractor will, in addition to snow removal, apply deicer solution as
necessary to all areas noted in 1-4 above.
2. Revisions and or Additions:
a. Transfort Representative will meet with contractor prior to first snow fall of the year to
review areas to be cleared of snow, and areas where plowed snow may be pushed/stacked.
Transfort Reprehensive may meet with or contact prior to and or after each snow fall to
discuss any changes, issues or concerns regarding snow removal.
3. Revisions and or Additions:
a. Contractor must be able to provide service Sunday through Saturday (24hours per day, 7
days per week) for each snow fall where snow has/is falling and there is at least minimal or
trace accumulation on the specified areas to be cleared.
4. Revisions and or Additions:
a. Transfort Representative will inform contractor when plowed / stacked snow for each of the
described snow removal areas is to be removed and hauled to a City of Fort Collins
approved snow dump site.
12. Revisions and or Additions:
a. The contractor shall invoice separately the specific hours and materials for each location
noted in Exhibit D.
13. Addition:
a. Transfort shall provide access to the gated Transfort Maintenance Facility on Portner road
by issuing 3 fobs to vendor. Vendor is responsible for the fobs and will not distribute fobs to
any person or enter the facility grounds using the fob for any reason other than the explicit
use as outlined in this snow removal contract / agreement.
