EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTION & ANSWERS
Q1. Is it possible to obtain the as-builts for existing Drake WRF chlorine contact
channel? This will help in understanding if the structure can be reused for the UV
system.
A1. In addendum #1, the plan sheets that show the effluent piping are
also the ones that show the chlorine contact chamber information.
Q2. The RFP requests a full resume for the Project Engineer position. Can you clarify
what the City is looking for here? Do you want all the projects the proposed person
has performed or just a summary?
A2. The Project Engineer position resume should be formatted as if it
were being used for a job application.
Q3. In Section III.B.6 on Page 6 of the Request for Proposal, information on the “…
beginning price, ending price, and any change orders” is requested. Is the
beginning and ending price the engineering fee? Are the change orders the
change orders issued to contractors for construction?
A3. The requested price information for the projects should be listed
separately for both design costs and construction costs of the
project.
