Project Description: Provide engineering design for a sidewalk connection at the northeast corner of the
Mulberry Street/Riverside Avenue intersection.
Scope of Services: See attached scope of services.
Professional agrees to perform the services
identified above and on the attached forms in
accordance with the terms and conditions
contained herein and in the Professional Services
Agreement between the parties. In the event of a
conflict between or ambiguity in the terms of the
Professional Services Agreement and this work
order (including the attached forms) the
Professional Services Agreement shall control.
The attached forms consisting of five (5) pages
are hereby accepted and incorporated herein, by
this reference, and Notice to Proceed is hereby
given.

Project Description and Scope of Services

Attached is the project scope and description:

Interwest will work with your department as well as the City surveying team to design a sidewalk connection on
the northeast side of the Mulberry and Riverside intersection. The sidewalk will extend an existing sidewalk on
the north side of Mulberry - which currently ends east of the railroad tracks - across the existing railroad tracks
west to the intersection at Riverside. In addition to the sidewalk connection, ADA ramps will be constructed in
the northeast corner of the intersection and drive cut access for the railroad will also be included in the design.
Scope of Services
Sidewalk Grading Plan — hiterwest will prepare a. construction plats showing demolition limits of the existing
sidewalk east of the railroad tracks, proposed sidewalk geometry, proposed driveway cuts and ADA ramps, and
detailed grading. Interwest will also coordinate with the City traffic department to show the location of any new
pedestrian signals and crosswalks that may be needed for the improvements.
Estimate Fee $4,500
Meetings/Coordination— Interwest will be involved with the coordination between the City and the railroad
company. Interwest will provide the necessary preliminary exhibits needed to finalize the sidewalk and drive
access design.
Estimate Fee $1,000
Reimbrmables— for prints, mileage, and deliveries, etc.
Estimated Fee: $200

Assumptions-
1. All surveying will be provided by the City.
2. There will be no structural or geotechnical services needed for the sidewalk design_
3. There will be no permanent ROW impacts or property acquisitions.
4. No specifications, bid tabs, or bid documents will be provided. The plan will be constructed by a general
service contractor.
5. Interwest will not provide CM or CA services.
