SNOWBLAST SNOWBLOWER SPECIFICATIONS M -8000 M D This rotary snowblower is a self-contained, dual fan assembly to be mounted on a front-end loader. This snowblower has the capabilities of truck loading or free casting. All connections and mounting components are compatible with the customer's prime mover. The drives are to be direct by chain couplers or flex couplers (no belt drive or universal joints will be accepted) to gearboxes. All drive chains are enclosed in an oil reservoir to keep out foreign matter and to lubricate chains. The blower assembly shall be constructed to withstand the strains, jars, vibrations and other conditions incidental to the service intended. Each fan shall be constructed such that helical ribbons on the fan feed snow to the center of the blower assembly. The blower head consists of two fans incorporated with helical ribbons (independent cross augers are unacceptable) to direct snow in the direction of the fans rotation. The helical ribbons shall have ice chippers to cut hard compacted snow. This system is also designed to blow wet snow. Each fan shall have six blades. The vertical cutting edge and blower side -wall shall not exceed a width of %" to allow for ease of cutting into the snow (chain and sprocket assemblies on the side -wall of the blower will not be accepted).
