Amendment #01 to Professional Services Agreement
This Amendment (“Amendment”) is entered into by and between Peak Leadership Consulting
LLC (the “Professional”) and the City of Fort Collins, Colorado (the “City”).
WHEREAS, Professional and the City have mutually entered into a professional services
agreement dated August 23, 2011 (Agreement); and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend Exhibit “A” Scope of Services to add a new
engagement for executive coaching; and
WHEREAS, Professional agrees to same;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing recitals and the mutual promises
herein contained, the parties agree as follows:
Professional shall provide executive coaching for Chris Parton in accordance with the
following:
Objective: Professional will provide executive coaching services to Chris Parton to help him
continue working on his development plan from the Lead 1.0 program, focusing on improving
his influence/persuasion skills, continuing to build and use his change management skills and
keeping the Lead 1.0 skills he developed in use on the job.
Expected results of business coaching:
Better ability to read others and influence them effectively.
Clear plan to influence each of his key stakeholders which articulates what motivates
each of them and how he can best communicate with them.
Change management plan on asset management for light and power.
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills during a high stakes program.
Deliverables: Professional shall meet with Chris Parton face-to-face or via skype once every
three months for one (1) hour sessions, totaling four (4) hours during 2015.
Fees and Terms:
The cost of coaching will be $185 per hour, totaling $740. These sessions will be billed once a
quarter to the City Utilities finance department.
Changes in scope may involve adjustments to the budget and/or additions to the scoped items
upon mutual written approval by the parties.
