Drake Water Reclamation Facility Training Video
Summary
Advanced Media (AM) will produce a video training program for the Drake Water Reclamation
Facility. Filming will involve classroom style instruction and “hands on” demonstrations using the
system. The goal of the program is to provide system operations and maintenance information
to viewers to have a general, high-level understanding about the operation of the system.
Studies have shown that the recommended finished video program length to hold a majority of
viewers attention is approximately 15 - 20 minutes for captive audience video training material.
Therefore we highly recommend that the finished program length to provide a general, high-level
understanding of the system not exceed 20 minutes.
AM recognizes there will be video material that will not be used in the finished 15 - 20 minute
training video. This could be training material that goes into great detail about a system feature,
procedure or a Q&A session. AM understands that this footage is valuable and should be made
available to employees. However highly detailed system information would be better served as
supplementary material that the audience could choose to view when that information is
needed.

Ɣ Location video production is estimated to require 1.5 days
Ɣ Any required photography or technical graphics will be provided by client

Production Management & Script Review and Consultation = $85/hr
Video Production: Full day = $1600 Half Day = $800

Terms of Agreement
The below billing amounts are based on the lower cost estimate total above. Final billing amount will result
from the actual billable time, not to exceed the higher amount of our proposal unless additional work is
authorized by client. All work to be done to the reasonable satisfaction of The City of Fort Collins, hereafter referred to as
Customer.
Payment to be as follows:
Due upon acceptance of proposal $ 1/3 Budget
Due upon completion of location filming $ 1/3 Budget
Due upon satisfactory completion of the project $ 1/3 Budget

Estimate Total: $ 6710 - 7400
Advanced Media requires a deposit of approximately one-third of total due upon acceptance of proposal in order to begin
working on the project. Customer will be billed as work progresses with the remaining balance due upon final completion
of the project. Payment on all billings subsequent to the initial deposit shall be due as defined above from receipt of bill.
Alterations or additions to this proposal, including any required additional work, as approved by Customer and Advanced
Media will be billed to Customer as an additional or separate charge.
Work in progress stopped by Customer will be payable on the basis of time and effort expended, and expenses incurred by
Advanced Media. Upon acceptance of each finished item, Customer shall have waived any claim that Advanced Media has
not satisfactorily performed its work.

If Customer fails to make payment in a timely manner on any billings during the progress of the work, Advanced Media, in
its sole discretion, may stop all work until payment is resolved to the satisfaction of Advanced Media and Advanced Media
shall not be responsible for any loss to Customer caused by such work stoppage.
If payment on any billing is not received by Advanced Media by the due date a late charge shall be assessed at the interest
rate of 3% per month, charged against all past due amounts from the date due until fully paid. Customer expressly agrees
that in the event Customer fails or refuses to pay any amount due under this proposal, Customer shall pay, in addition to
interest stated above, all costs incurred by Advanced Media in the course of collecting funds due, including court costs,
process server costs, investigation costs and any attorney's fees.
Until Advanced Media has received all payments due and owing from Customer, Advanced Media shall own all intellectual
property rights to the product that is the subject of this proposal, and any use by Customer of the product shall constitute
a breach of Advanced Media’s intellectual property rights.
This agreement shall be construed and enforced under the laws of Colorado and the parties agree that the courts in
Larimer County Colorado shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue to hear any and all conflicts concerning this
agreement.
Limitation of Liability: Advanced Media’s liability to Customer for any claims of Customer arising out of this Project shall in
all cases not exceed the amounts received by Advanced Media from Customer. Advanced Media shall not be liable to the
Customer for any special or consequential damages, including but not limited to, lost profits, loss of use, and costs of
replacement.
Advanced Media retains rights to use the program material for the following purposes: The finished product can be used
to portfolio Advanced Media’s services and capabilities within the constraints of any Non-Disclosure Agreements or other
contracts Advanced Media may have with the Customer.
