CoPro has been honored to represent the LION line of station wear with the department over the past few years during the remainder of the original contract entered between Poudre Fire and LION. We are pleased to participate in any interview/demonstration process that is deemed necessary towards the decision for this RFP. CoPro EFP is a Colorado based women owned business started in April of 2012 and has had the pleasure of working with LION since that time. We currently serve a 5 state region utilizing four field representatives and one in house representative. Our primary focus in on supplying the fire service with almost any equipment that they may need and started handling uniforms on a more frequent basis in 2016 as LION disbanded their inhouse uniform sales staff moving representation to dealers across the United States and customer service can be better handled by local representatives. Or main office is located in Thornton CO where your primary contact is located. Primary Contact information: Wendy Greening Owner/Inside Sales P.O. Box 1444, Eastlake CO 80614 wendy@coprofire.com 303-219-6013 Scope of Proposal Since LION asked CoPro EFP to take over the Poudre Uniform account we believe a good working relationship has been built in regard to ordering and billing with the city. As the department currently has a sizing set of the LION Uniforms it has been simple for your personnel to conduct sizing and then send that request via email to Wendy for placement. Normal delivery of product is less that 14 days and delayed orders have been relayed as soon as we are notified. If awarded this RFP we propose staying with the same format unless changes are requested by department or purchasing personnel. Should a new Quartermaster or if the current Quartermaster is having trouble with sizing one of our mobile representatives will schedule an appointment to assist with in sizing or training for sizing as needed. As mentioned above CoPro EFP as enjoyed a lasting relationship with LION and as many of our product lines come from this manufacture and future and long-lasting relationship is planned. Should for any reason CoPro EFP part ways with LION, they will assume the workings of the contract with the agreed upon pricing and stipulations. As with the previous contract with LION is still happy to say that they are an ISO-9001 certified company. Does garment proposed comply with Poudre Fire Authority Specification? Yes, we do comply with all garments. The garments proposed are the same garments used today by the authority. Supply on Sample of each garment. We do have samples in route to the department if not already received. As mentioned above these are the same garments as currently being purchased by the authority. Describe the Method of Communication. As e-mail communications are always prefers as it gives a record we are not apposed to phone calls should any member of the authority need our assistance. Emails are normally answered on the day they are sent but from time to time they may be answered on the following business day. Firm Capability. As we have had a working relationship with the city and authority over the past few years for the same project our plans are to keep operations moving in the same manner. The main contact for the project will be Wendy Greening (listed above). CoPro is the area representative for all of the LION products for Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska and Montana. We have been working with a number off departments including Poudre, Red, White and Blue, Summit Fire & EMS, Rapid City, Greeley and number of others across our territories. We fell that we can give no better reference to how we do business than the customer service and support that we have given the authority thus far over the past few years. We will admit that do to some computer glitches and during the time that we took over management of the contract there were a couple of invoicing errors these have been corrected and we do not see any future issues arising. Assigned Personnel: Wendy Greening will be the main contact for this project her contact number is 303-219-6013 her email is wendy@coprofire.com. Availability & Lead Time: We are proposing that all orders will be delivered within 14 days ARO baring any stocking issues or custom sizing. Should a delay happen notification will be made via e-mail with proposed shipping dates Sustainable/TBL Marketing: As a small business CoPro as set a standard to only represent those companies that provide an understanding of what may involve the environment and the social aspect of the people we serve. LION is very strong the social aspect in the innovations for which it has many patents relating to firefighter safety and health especially with the new emphases on cancer prevention. LION maintains sweat shop free work environments by first selecting companies that have a proven track record in countries that do not favor this type of operation. This is also controlled by frequesnt and unannounced factory visits to verify product integrity. Each garment is supplied with cleaning instructions and wet cleaning is the preferred method of cleaning as dry cleaning may introduce chemicals to the garment. The life expectancy of the garment will very greatly upon the user but it is estimated that a 3 year life span will be the average in the fire service. Exceptions to the RFP: As the authority has been utilizing LION Station Wear for the past 5 years we do not feel that supplying the 22 members of the department is a viable option for us at this time.
