Relative to Scope of Services, Instructions to Consultants, p. 4, Item 4(e): Some of the items listed in this paragraph are confidential, especially including appraisal estimates of just compensation. More problematical is the fact that the outcomes of most settlement awards are never provided to the expert witnesses. This information is not public record and is not accessible. The City recognizes that all details referenced in this paragraph may not be available. We ask that you respond to this item in general terms to give us an understanding of your experience with litigation services. A highly detailed response is not required. 2. Our submittal exceeds the 20MB limit outlined in the RFP because of the sample reports required. If we submit the reports on a jump drive, does only the response to the RFP need to be submitted in hard copy? Or does the entire submittal need to be in hard copy? Is it possible that the reports could be submitted via a link to a cloud server such as One Drive? The City would prefer not to receive any hard copies. In this instance, there are several options available. You can submit your documents in more than one email or you can send a link to the cloud server. Our only requirement for the cloud server is that it should not require us to set up an account in order to retrieve the documents. 3. Page 6 of 40, Item 4. Breakout of reimbursable costs: (these are included in rates 2. & 3. Above). Could you please explain what is meant here? As all costs are indeed included in 2 & 3 above, what would these costs be? Item 4 is intended to help us understand the different elements factored into your hourly rate. Examples would be mileage rate, research fees, administrative fees, printing costs, etc. It is not necessary to be overly detailed but we would like a general overview.
