Streets and Traffic Standby Generators
Arc Flash studies as required by City standards.
Fees for the Arc Flash studies and Mechanical consultant are to be added to the [au]workshop work order.
New completion date is to be set for 12/31/2020
$2,190 for Streets Main facility, $1,960 for Streets De-icing and $8,460 for Traffic Operations for a total of
$12,610. See the attached proposal.
Fees for the Mechanical consultant was conracted at an incorect value. The $850 charge was intended to be
applied for each building and not a total for the project.

Dear Blake,
[au]workshop is pleased to provide you with this proposal for electrical engineering services
to perform Arc Flash Hazard and Fault current studies at the City of Fort Collins Traffic
Operations, Streets Facility, and the De-Icing Facility.
PROJECT UNDERSTANDING, SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLES
We understand the scope of the project is to provide electrical engineering for performing
and coordinating various studies for the Streets and Traffic Facilities per the attached fee
proposal from RJ McNutt & Associates (see below).
As discussed with you, [au]workshop will provide services on an hourly basis with the
intention of working as quickly and efficiently as possible. We will not exceed the dollar
amounts noted in the “Fees and Expenses” paragraph below without prior approval from
you.
FEES and EXPENSES
For tasks described above, we propose a time and reimbursable direct cost basis
under this agreement using our standard Hourly Rate Chart (per the Professional
Service Agreement).

By signing below, you agree to the provisions of this proposal. Authorizing services
described in this Proposal shall be construed to mean agreement with the Professional
Services Agreement executed on 22 December 2016. Should you have any inquiries,

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
1. Project: CoFC – Traffic/Streets Arc Flash Hazard Study
2. Location: Fort Collins, CO
3. Description: Provide Arc Flash Hazard Study per IEEE 1584 standards, as well as coordination
study and printed equipment labels for all the electrical switchboards, distribution panels and sub-
panels for the Traffic Operations building. Studies for the Street De-Icing and Streets Facility
Buildings shall be restricted to equipment added during the Generator Addition project only.
CLIENT COOPERATION: Client agrees to cooperate with Engineer and to furnish the following to
Engineer to facilitate performance:
1. Architectural Drawings.
2. Current Electrical One-Line Diagram
3. Access to all areas containing electrical equipment pertaining to studies.
4. Assist with obtaining utility data.
CHARGES AND PAYMENT: Client agrees to pay Engineer in accordance with the following rates and
charges:
1. "SCOPE OF WORK" described previously: Service based on fixed fee of:
a. Traffic Operations ......................................................................... $8,000.00
b. Streets De-Icing ............................................................................ $1,500.00
c. Streets Facility .............................................................................. $1,500.00
2. "WORK NOT INCLUDED" (described previously). Additional work will be performed on an
hourly basis at the following rates. This work will not be undertaken until we have your written
authorization to proceed. These rates will be in effect through December 31, 2019. For work
after that time, increase these rates by 5%.
