Terms and conditions of sale: Pricing Increase Announcement Last year, the Trump administration announced a 25% tariff increase on products imported from China. Ten percent of that increase was implemented last year. The remaining 15% was put on hold pending ongoing negotiations with the Chinese government. It was recently announced that the remaining 15% will be effective as of May 10, 2019. As a result, we are receiving price increase letters from many of our factories who are affected by this increase. The effective dates range from May 13th to May 20th. The percentage of the increase will vary by factory and by product, depending on the percentage of the product sourced from China. Right now, it is impossible to ascertain how these increases will affect the various products. So, we will have to deal with the increase on a case by case basis. If the increase is again delayed, or is rescinded, that factories are indicating they will follow suit with their pricing Please, inform your customers of this impending increase, right away.
