PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SCOPE OF SERVICES: Project Description: New emergency back
up generators for the Streets Operations main building, Streets De-icing Command Center and
Traffic Operations buildings. Scope of Services: Design services related to the installation of
generators at the City of Fort Collins Streets Operations main building, Streets De-icing Command
Center and Traffic Operations buildings including electrical engineering, structural engineering,
landscaping ad
justments and site work.
Service Provider agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached forms in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Master Agreement between
the parties. In the event of a conflict between or ambiguity in the terms of the Master Agreement
and this Work Order (including the attached forms) the Master Agreement shall control.

Dear Blake,
[au]workshop is pleased to provide you with this proposal for design services related to the
installation of generators at the City of Fort Collins Traffic Operations, Streets Facility, and
the De-Icing Facility.
PROJECT UNDERSTANDING, SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLES
We understand the scope of the project is to provide electrical engineering related to new
back-up generators for the Streets and Traffic Facilities and per the attached fee proposal
from RJ McNutt & Associates (see below).
As discussed with you, [au]workshop will provide services on an hourly basis with the
intention of working as quickly and efficiently as possible. We will not exceed the dollar
amounts noted in the “Fees and Expenses” paragraph below without prior approval from
you.
FEES and EXPENSES
For tasks described above, we propose a time and reimbursable direct cost basis
under this agreement using our standard Hourly Rate Chart (per the Professional
Service Agreement).

Reimbursable Expenses
Reimbursable expenses are not anticipated, but if incurred will be in addition to

will be incurred only with prior approval by City of Fort Collins.
AGREEMENT
By signing below, you agree to the provisions of this proposal. Authorizing services
described in this Proposal shall be construed to mean agreement with the Professional
Services Agreement executed on 22 December 2016. Should you have any inquiries,

Dear Mr. Kersley,
R.J. McNutt & Associates, LLC is pleased to present our proposal for electrical engineering services.
SCOPE OF WORK: Engineer is to perform following services:
1. Site visit of existing conditions (Quantity – 1).
2. Electrical Construction drawings.
a. Electrical One-Line Diagram.
b. Power plans showing new equipment layout (Traffic Operations Building only).
c. Optional Stand-By generator.
d. Seal and sign Documents for submission to the local Building Department.
e. AutoCAD drafting version 2016 or newer.
3. Attend coordination meetings via telephone/video conference.
4. Electrical Specifications Division 16.
5. Construction Phase.
a. Review electrical shop drawings.
b. Electrical clarifications, addendums and changes.
c. Answer electrical field questions.
d. Field observations of electrical work in progress (Quantity – 3).
e. Review Operating and Maintenance Manuals as prepared by the electrical contractor.
f. As-Built Documents in AutoCAD and PDF format.
WORK NOT INCLUDED:
1. Construction Documents in AutoCAD/Revit during bidding, negotiation, and construction phase.
Documents not available to Contractor and/or supplier or use in preparing shop drawings or field
drawings.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

2. Location: Fort Collins, CO
3. Description:
a. Traffic Operations Building: Provide power plans showing locations of new equipment.
Provide Electrical One-line diagram and all associated calculations to add optional stand-
by generator to provide back-up power to the entire service.
b. Streets De-Icing Building: Provide Electrical One-Line diagram and all associated
calculations to add optional stand-by generator to provide back-up power to the entire
service.
c. Streets Facility Building: Provide Electrical One-Line diagram and all associated
calculations to add optional stand-by generator to provide back-up power to the entire
service.

CLIENT COOPERATION: Client agrees to cooperate with Engineer and to furnish the following to
Engineer to facilitate performance:
1. Architectural Drawings.
2. AutoCAD/Revit version 2016 or newer: 1/8" scale floor plans and scaled site plans. Progress
Architectural PDF included with progress updates.
3. Owner's requests.
4. Progress and final Architectural documents.
CHARGES AND PAYMENT: Client agrees to pay Engineer in accordance with the following rates and
charges:
1. "SCOPE OF WORK" described previously: Service based on hourly rates, hourly rates as listed
below, maximum not to exceed the following:
a. Traffic Operatives:

2. "WORK NOT INCLUDED" (described previously). Additional work will be performed on an
hourly basis at the following rates. This work will not be undertaken until we have your written
authorization to proceed. These rates will be in effect through December 31, 2019. For work
after that time, increase these rates by 5%.
