Questions & Answers
Q1. We are considering pursuing this RFP. If our estimating department was the successful
bidder for this RFP, would it disqualify our construction group from pursuing other projects in Ft.
Collins (due to possible conflict)?
A1. 8821 Independent Cost Estimating is intended to be used for estimating water, wastewater,
and/or stormwater for capital improvements projects utilizing the Alternative Product Delivery
System (APDS) method. If your firm was awarded the contract for 8821, it would not disqualify
your construction group from pursuing other projects in the City, unless it was a project that
involved water, wastewater, and/or stormwater capital improvements utilizing the APDS method.
