Questions & Answers
Q1: Section II.A. Scope of Work, Minimum Solution Specifications - a.i.1 and a.ii.1 - Is the
City of Fort Collins interested in entertaining bids that apply their existing Database
Licenses (Bring Your Own License (BYOL)) to this solution?
A1: Not at this time. The current plan is to cancel the existing licenses as we
consolidate but this may change to BYOL. We won’t know for sure for at least 1-2
years.
Q2: Section II.B. Scope of Work, Deployment Options - a and b - The configuration City of
Fort Collins has requested is already in the minimum number of racks available for
delivery from Oracle. If City of Fort Collins determines that they will deploy the solution in
their own racks, Oracle ACS services will be required to perform the re-rack services.
Does City of Fort Collins wish bidders to provide a quote for these services?
A2: The City is currently leaning towards using the Oracle provided racks, but
estimated costs associated with re-racking, if any, would be desired in the
response.
