conflict between or ambiguity in the terms of the
Professional Services Agreement and this work
order (including the attached forms) the
Professional Services Agreement shall control.
The attached forms consisting of TWO (2) pages
are hereby accepted and incorporated herein, by
this reference, and Notice to Proceed is hereby
given.

Project Description and Scope of Services
Dear Erika,
Attached is the project scope and description:
Description
INTCRWCST CONSULTING GROUP
Interwest will work with you and Jarod Heveran to prepare construction plans for additional roof drain collection
system(s) to alleviate nuisance runoff at pedestrian locations around the building. The collection system(s) will
then discharge to the existing detention pond along south property line. At this time we anticipate that the
modifications will be limited to the south side of the facility.
Scope of Services
Roof Drain Collection System Alternatives — Interwest will prepare conceptual level alternative designs for
evaluation by staff. Once an alternative design is accepted, Interwest will prepare construction level drawings and
details, as needed.
Estimated Fee: $1,000
Construction Documents — Interwest will prepare construction plans and details for the selected roof drain
collection system suitable for bidding and construction. Storm drain pipe profiles are not anticipated but will be
evaluated at critical crossing locations. Erosion control measures will be noted on the drawings and coordinated
with Water Utility staff. A brief Erosion Control Report would be required should the disturbed area exceed
10,000 square feet.
Estimated Fee: $4,500
Construction Specifications — Interwest does not anticipate the need to prepare separate construction
specifications for this work order. All collection and pipe systems will be constructed pursuant to LCUASS and
the notes and details provided on the drawings.
Estimated Fee: N/A
Meetings and Coordination — Interwest will meet with staff as necessary to establish a roof drain collection
system alignment and review the proposed design. Interwest does not anticipate the need to process a formal plan
review through the city Planning Department.
Estimated Fee: $1,000
Construction Administration — Interwest does not anticipate the need to provide construction administration
services for this work order but is readily available if needed. Record Drawings will be provided by the
contractor at the end of the construction based on their redline plans and/or field survey data.

Reimbursables— Interwest will pass on direct reimbursable expenses such as prints, vehicle mileage, and
deliveries, etc.
Estimated Fee: $200
Assumptions —
I. Interwest will prepare base map information based on the previous design drawings prepared by
Interwest. The need for additional as -built survey data is not anticipated at this time or will be provided
by the City Surveyor, if required.
2. Utility locating and potholing will be provided by others, if required.
3. Design calculations or modifications to the originally approved Drainage Report are not anticipated.
4. Construction survey and as built survey will be by others.
Schedule
We can proceed immediately with the project for construction this spring.
